What is included in the cost?

The rate for Riverside includes: golf cart transport of handicap and elderly persons as necessary, tables and chairs for ceremony and reception, a decorated swing by the river for bride photo’s, a brides dressing room (air conditioned) with private restroom, men's and women's restrooms (handicap accessible),ceiling is decorated, accent lighting in trees and landscaping, also additional lighting options available, and maintenance of all garbage containers, as well as clean-up after the event. Price includes use of the grounds for the day, whether for a ceremony, reception or both. No additional charge for taxes or gratuity.

Event hours

Riverside Receptions books only one event per day. The facility opens at 10 AM; music and bar must close by 11 PM. Must vacate the premises by no later than 12 midnight.

Booking Policies

A $1500.00 deposit is required to reserve a date at Riverside with the balance due 15 days prior to the event to include a $300 damage deposit. If for any reason you must cancel your event, you are entitled to a $200 refund if the written cancellation is received 180 days prior to your event date.


You are entitled to a rehearsal time of 1 hour sometime prior to your event, however, if a wedding is scheduled on the day you request your rehearsal, Riverside will coordinate the rehearsal time.

Banquet Hall Capacity

Riverside has 35 8ft tables, 10 6ft tables, and 26 round tables, Fill-n-Chill tables available.The capacity of our banquet hall is 280, 200 guests with round tables, however, a 20 X 30 canopy (not included) can be added over the patio to provide more covered seating if desired.

Food & Beverage

You may arrange to have any source you choose for your food and beverage. Alcohol may be served; however, a responsible adult should supervise distribution. Alcohol may not be sold on the premises. An unstocked bar is provided by Riverside Receptions.

Rental Items & Service

Riverside offers many wedding props and offers assistance for setup, etc., and we do have a brochure to display and list these and the pricing. We will accept orders for many of our Items and Services up to the last minute and require the payment for these be made on the event day.

Linens & Skirting

For your convenience Riverside rents linens and skirting at reasonable rates. Orders for these should be made no later than 3 weeks before your event date.

Setup & Cleanup

Riverside provides the number of chairs (white folding) and tables that you require for up to 280 guests. You may set them up as you like or our staff will do this for you for a charge. You will need to remove all items that you wish to keep that evening unless other arrangements are made with Riverside. Riverside staff will take care of the chairs and tables after the ceremony and reception as well as take care of all clean up.

Child Supervision

Due to the pristine landscape and the obvious water hazards, we ask that children remain with an adult at all times.

Power Availability

Riverside has ample power in the banquet hall. If you wish to plug in a large refrigerated trailer, there will be an additional $20 charge. There are also many power stations about the grounds for the use at your ceremony. Riverside has 2 generators in the event of a power outage.

Insect Control

Riverside sprays the grounds with foggers designed to control mosquitoes, etc. We also use sprays and Terminix sprays our buildings for bugs.

Parking Attendants

Riverside staff will manage the parking lot to insure an orderly situation. The golf cart, driven by Riverside Staff, will be stationed in the parking lot at least 1 hour prior to your event start time to transport elderly and handicapped individuals.


We love animals but do not allow them on the wedding grounds. Some exceptions contact us for more inforamtion.


Our hall has some permanent decorations, and we have others that can be added at no additional charge. . You may bring in decorations of your own; however, they must be attached using fish line or wire ties. You may not tape, nail or fasten to the buildings or landscaping. To protect the grounds natural beauty, bubbles, confetti, glitter, sparklers, fireworks, balloons, rice or seeds are not allowed. If you are unsure about your choice, call to discuss it with our staff prior to your event day.

Bad Weather

Rain, Cold, Warm, Etc. – Riverside’s hall is designed with clear sides that can be lowered if needed. The ceremony can take place in front of the waterfall in the hall in the event of bad weather. The hall can be completely enclosed with transparent sides and it is heated. The hall has large ceiling fans that keep it cool.


Riverside grows their flowers in a greenhouse, so they have large mature flowers in early May and take great care so many beautiful flowers adorn the gardens into late fall. Our hall is surrounded with gardens, water feature views, and special ceiling decorations and lights, thus limiting the need for you to add many decorations.
